What's included in the Free plan?
Everything you need to start tracking your game nights and understanding your results. Log unlimited games, keep your full play history, and explore trends, rivalries, and player comparisons. Create up to 3 active leagues or competitions, covering one game or a mix, and join as many as you like. Importing past plays is also free. Free is not a trial, and no card is required.
What does Premium add?
Premium adds personalized recaps, Ask Game Nite, full coaching reports, league season stories, unlimited league and competition creation, and CSV/Excel export. You do not need Premium to keep logging games or exploring your detailed stats.
How do the 3 free leagues work?
You can organize up to 3 active leagues or competitions in total, across any combination of games. A mixed-game league counts as one. Upcoming competitions reserve a slot; completed or archived ones do not count. Joining other leagues does not use your slots. Creating, reopening, or taking over another league requires an available slot or Premium; simply hiding a league does not free a slot.
Does everyone in a league need Premium?
No. Joining leagues and helping manage them are free, with no limit. Only the organizer needs Premium to create more than 3 active leagues or competitions. Each person can choose Premium for their own recaps, answers, and coaching.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. Start with Free and choose Premium whenever you want its extras. You can cancel Premium at any time and keep access until the end of your trial or paid billing period, then continue on Free.
Is Free a trial? How does the Premium trial work?
Free is not a trial and needs no card. New Premium subscribers can try Premium free for 14 days. We collect your card at checkout, but you can cancel any time before day 14 in Settings → Billing and you won’t be charged. Trials are one-per-account.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our payment processor, Stripe.
Why choose annual billing?
Annual billing saves you 33% versus paying monthly — Premium drops to roughly $3.33/month. You also lock in the price for the year.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — every new paid subscription comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you upgrade and aren’t satisfied within 14 days of the initial charge, email billing@gamenite.ai from your account address and we’ll refund you in full. After 14 days, monthly plans are non-refundable but you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal; annual plans may be eligible for a prorated refund of the unused portion at our discretion. How do I cancel?
Open Settings → Billing and click "Manage subscription" to open the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel your subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for. You can also email billing@gamenite.ai if you’d rather we handle it for you.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can keep logging unlimited games and using your full history, detailed stats, and charts on Free. Existing leagues remain usable, even if you organize more than 3; you need an available slot or Premium to create, reopen, or take over another. Previously generated recaps and AI history remain readable. New Premium recaps, answers, full coaching reports, and CSV/Excel exports require Premium. Your complete privacy archive remains free in Settings → Privacy & Data.
